As a bit of a change of pace and a challenge (and a borrowed idea from a contest a DA community was having), I tried doing a drawing that would be consisted of colouring in different shades of a colour - a monochromatic drawing. This vixen was the result of it, and it spurred an idea of making a series of monochromatic pictures. I call them Colourful Femmes. They're drawn, inked and coloured on 6x4" bristol board, and only coloured with marker, using only a white pencil crayon for highlights and the white parts. I plan to offer prints of these drawings as a collective portfolio.
